DAY 4 - THE UNFORTUNATE SIDE EFFECT

Today was cardio, which I absolutely loathe. I could lift weights all day and be fine. But running, sweating and getting out of breath? No thanks. It's only fun when you're playing a sport. When there's competition involved...or balls of the kicking or hitting variety. But who knows, maybe that will change. I hear working out can be addicting. Not sure I believe it...but I hear it.

Anyways, I survived the day. And tell you what...its a million times easier working out when there isn't a kid climbing on your leg. Sure I had to sacrifice a nap time, but I'm happier to have another day down. Feeling a lot less sore for sure, but full disclosure? There has been a very unfortunate side effect to working out...

sigh...

...the return of an old friend. I guess all the squats, lunges and grunting decided to give Hemmy the ole wake up call. So this is very unfortunate for me. Had to bust out the postpartum dream team yet again....and now I smell like witch hazel. The struggle continues.

Handful of nut mix I made (pistachios, almond, hazelnut)

Another one of my turkey burger concoctions
Veggie Sticks

Cup of Low Sodium Butternut Squash Soup
Handful of Trader Joes Woven Wheat Wafers
